Globe Granary Elevators
Located in Superior WI, the Globe Elevators were built in 1887, including 3 of the largest wooden elevators ever constructed in the world. The wood used in the construction dates back to the late 1600's carrying with it 300 years of history and weathering. Each Elevator contained over 2,000,000 board feet of old-growth lumber. Such as; Eastern White Pine, Oak, Southern Yellow Pine, and Douglas Fir. We carry a supply of seasoned lumber harvested from this structure, which produces a unique character of wood, that cannot be replicated.
